• Be aware that many cell phones are stolen, then sold through retail stores
• Buy only from reputable stores
• Buy only from authorized dealers
• Get the ID number off the cell phone
• Call the service provider or manufacturer, give them the ID number and confirm that the cell phone is not stolen

Using cell phone:

• Minimize use – to reduce risk of brain cancer

After using cell phone:

• Turn it off – to help keep criminals from obtaining your phone’s code and charging calls to your account
