Poison

Here are some things to consider doing. Some items may not be applicable to you.

If someone has swallowed a substance which may be poisonous:

  • Call your local poison control center
  • Be aware that administering syrup of ipecac may cause further problems in some cases

Storing:

  • Keep hazardous materials out of the reach of children
  • Keep hazardous materials locked up
  • Ensure hazardous materials are labelled as to their contents and dangers
