Here are some things to consider doing. Some items may not be applicable to you.
Cervical cancer is ranked second to breast cancer as the most common malignancy
- Delay the start of sexual activity
Women who start sexual activity before age of 18 are more likely to develop cervical cancer from an human papilloma virus (HPV) - Get regular pap smear tests
- Practice safe sex, e.g. use a condom
- Limit number of sexual partners
