Discipline
- Don’t hit (e.g., spank) your child • hitting teaches your child that violence is a solution to problems and will probably make it likely that he/she will hit siblings, classmates, etc.
- Use discipline to teach, not to punish
If your child has significant behavior problems:
- Consider sending your child on a wilderness expedition
