Here are some things to consider doing. Some items may not be applicable to you.

Smoking

If you smoke:

  • Try to quit
    • Consider that not drinking alcohol for at least 6 months after quitting smoking might make quitting smoking easier
  • Only smoke in places where you don’t bother other people

After smoking:

  • Douse the butt(s) with water

If you don’t smoke:

  • Don’t start
  • Avoid second-hand smoke
